UX Design: Writers Victoria Website
Working with Writers Victoria during my first year of the Master of Communication Design at RMIT we were asked to propose improvements for their website. This involved implementing a range of methods within the realm of user experience design. I analysed the exisiting website deciding what I believed was working and what wasn’t, creating information architecture for the site in order to visualise its structure. The information architecture allowed me to determine whether or not the site was prioritising the right information, and gave a lot of insight into where the site may be over crowded or repeating itself. This stage was followed by a look into data provided by writers Victoria that gave information on the sites main attraction points. Here we were able to gather a more in-depth knowledge of the client, all in all beginning our design process with a well rounded idea of who they are and what they want to be.
